Bhopal’s Ubuntu Heart Hospital Holds Health Camp For 7th Bn Police Force
Senior interventional cardiologist Dr Subroto Mandal on Tuesday led a heart health awareness camp at the Madhya Pradesh Police 7th Battalion in Jehangirabad. It was organised under the aegis of Ubuntu Heart and Super Specialty Hospital, Bhopal.
The camp was graced by Commandant Shri Hitesh Choudhary (IPS) and UP Police Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Shri Tarun Patle. Inspector Shri Pushpendra G played an important role in coordinating the programme.
More than 200 jawans from the 7th Battalion police force participated in the camp, which was aimed at promoting health awareness among police personnel. The jawans took part in a free health training session organised during the event.
The programme focused on improving awareness about health-related issues. Special attention was given to heart-related emergencies.

Dr Subroto Mandal addressed the participants and explained important aspects of heart health. He spoke about identifying early symptoms of heart problems. He also discussed how to respond during emergency situations related to cardiac issues. The training aimed to equip police personnel with practical knowledge that could help save lives.
The session included guidance on handling emergencies until medical help arrives. The jawans were informed about the importance of timely response in emergency health situations. The programme highlighted how trained personnel can make a difference during critical situations, both on duty and in daily life.
Officials present at the camp appreciated the initiative. They stressed the importance of regular health awareness programmes for police forces. Such programmes help ensure the physical well-being of jawans who perform demanding duties. Good health is essential for effective law enforcement and public safety, they felt.

The organisers expressed satisfaction over the active participation of the jawans. They said similar programmes would be beneficial in the future. The camp reflected a joint effort between the police department and healthcare professionals to promote a healthier and more prepared police force.
