Bheema Shankar Darshan Marks the End of Kangana Ranaut’s Sacred Pilgrimage
Actor and politician Kangana Ranaut has marked a deeply personal spiritual milestone by completing her pilgrimage to all 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, a journey that spanned more than ten years. The final darshan took place at Bheema Shankar Jyotirlinga in Maharashtra, just days before the end of 2025. Sharing moments from the temple visit on social media, Kangana described the experience as one guided by faith, patience, and divine timing.
In a heartfelt post, Kangana reflected on how the journey began organically through travel coincidences and later evolved into a conscious spiritual commitment. She credited Lord Shiva and her ancestral blessings for allowing her to complete all twelve sacred darshans.
Bheema Shankar: A Spiritually Unique Jyotirlinga
For Kangana, Bheema Shankar holds a special spiritual significance. She highlighted that it is the only Jyotirlinga where Shiva and Shakti are consecrated together in the form of Ardhanarishwara. The ancient linga remains covered under a silver cast for most of the day, with only a brief window of about ten minutes when devotees can view it directly.
Kangana noted that being able to witness the original linga during this limited time felt like divine grace. In the images she shared, the actor is seen performing abhishek, fully immersed in devotion. She wore a yellow embroidered suit paired with a green dupatta, reflecting simplicity and spiritual grace rather than spectacle.
Her post concluded with a resonant chant of “Har Har Mahadev,” capturing the emotional weight of completing a decade-long pilgrimage.
Earlier Temple Visits and Deepening Faith
Prior to visiting Bheema Shankar, Kangana had also offered prayers at Girishneshwar Jyotirlinga, another sacred site in Maharashtra. While sharing photos from that visit, she wrote about the belief that devotees reach Jyotirlingas only when Lord Shiva calls them. She mentioned that although she had visited several Jyotirlingas multiple times, Girishneshwar darshan felt especially meaningful because of her long personal connection with Maharashtra.
Across her posts, Kangana repeatedly emphasized surrender, timing, and spiritual calling as central themes of her journey. Her reflections struck a chord with followers who viewed the pilgrimage not as a celebrity ritual, but as a deeply human act of faith.
