₹2 Lakh Crore Push for MP: Amit Shah Opens Abhyudaya Growth Summit in Gwalior
The Abhyudaya Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit began on Thursday at the Mela Ground in Gwalior, marking a major push toward industrial growth and employment generation in the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the state-level summit in the presence of senior leaders from both the Centre and the Madhya Pradesh government.
The summit focused on attracting investments, accelerating industrial development, and creating large-scale employment opportunities across the state.
Industrial Incentives Released Through Single-Click System
During the event, the government released industrial incentive amounts to investors through a single-click digital system. Officials said the move aims to promote transparency, efficiency, and ease of doing business in Madhya Pradesh.
Addressing the gathering, Amit Shah said that streamlined processes and digital governance play a critical role in building investor confidence and speeding up project execution.
Bhoomi Pujan and Inauguration of ₹2 Lakh Crore Projects
From the stage, the Union Home Minister performed the bhoomi pujan and inauguration of industrial units worth ₹2 lakh crore. These projects span multiple sectors and are expected to significantly strengthen the state’s industrial base.
In addition, leaders also carried out bhoomi pujan and inauguration of industrial projects worth over ₹10,000 crore, which officials said will further support economic expansion and job creation in the region.
Leaders Pay Tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee
The programme began with senior leaders offering floral tributes to the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Speakers remembered Vajpayee’s contribution to the nation and highlighted his vision of good governance, development, and inclusive growth.
Leaders said Vajpayee shared a deep connection with Madhya Pradesh and consistently supported initiatives aimed at strengthening infrastructure and public welfare.
Atal Museum Inaugurated at the Event
During the summit, Amit Shah also inaugurated the Atal Museum, a dedicated space showcasing Vajpayee’s life, ideology, and public service. The museum highlights key moments from his political journey and his role in shaping modern India.
Organisers said the museum aims to educate visitors, particularly young people, about Vajpayee’s values, leadership style, and commitment to national unity and development.
CM Mohan Yadav Welcomes Union Home Minister
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav welcomed Amit Shah to the summit and outlined the state’s long-term vision for industrial growth.
He said Madhya Pradesh has focused on policy reforms, infrastructure development, and investor-friendly governance to position itself as a preferred destination for businesses.
