DRDO Extends CEPTAM 11 Registration Deadline Till January 11, 2026
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has extended the online registration deadline for the CEPTAM 11 recruitment drive. Candidates now have additional time to apply, as the last date has been pushed from January 1, 2026, to January 11, 2026.
Eligible applicants can submit their forms through the official DRDO website, drdo.gov.in. The extension offers relief to aspirants who could not complete their registration within the earlier deadline.
DRDO CEPTAM 2025: Important Dates to Remember
Candidates should take note of the revised schedule for the recruitment process:
- Last date to apply online: January 11, 2026
- Last date to pay application fee: January 13, 2026
- Correction window: January 14 to January 16, 2026
The correction window allows candidates to make changes to their submitted applications, if required.
Vacancy Details Under CEPTAM 11 Recruitment
DRDO has announced a total of 764 technical vacancies under CEPTAM 2025. The distribution of posts includes:
- Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B): 561 posts
- Administrative and Allied (A&A): Remaining posts (details to be notified)
The recruitment aims to strengthen DRDO’s technical workforce across its laboratories and establishments.
Educational Qualification Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- STA-B:
- B.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline or
- Diploma in engineering from a recognised institution
- Technician-A:
- Class 10 / Matriculation pass
- ITI certificate in the relevant trade
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Age Limit for Applicants
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 28 years (as on January 1, 2026)
Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government norms.
Selection Process for DRDO CEPTAM 11
The recruitment process will be conducted in multiple stages:
- Written examination
- Trade test or skill test (where applicable)
- Document verification
- Medical examination
The final merit list will be published after all stages are completed.
